Important Information Regarding Your 2007-08 Housing Contract

Your 2007-2008 housing contract will be in your mailbox the week of January 22nd. You will receive your assignment when you return your contract. The Department of Student Housing will accept contracts from returning residents (that’s you!) Monday, January 29 – Friday, February 16 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Return your contract between these dates:

• January 29-February 2: To keep your current room next year
• February 5-February 9: To change apartment within Jayhawker Towers or room within your current building
• February 12-February 16: To move to another campus location

For your convenience, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on January 29, February 5, and February 12 Student Housing will receive your contract and confirm your assignment at the following locations:

• Student Housing office, Corbin Hall
• Hashinger Hall lobby
• Jayhawker Towers office

Other dates during this time: Return your contract to the Housing office in Corbin Hall between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Don’t forget—the 2-year contract option is now available for residents who sign a housing contract in 2007! As a planning tool, this 2-year contract offers a stable foundation on which to help build a college budget. For more information, e-mail housing@ku.edu

“Bill Me” Option: Put your $300 initial payment on your KU account. If your account is current and the $300 is paid by March 15, your assignment remains valid.
