Current and Returning ResidentsYou know we're a great value - just one reasonable payment covers rent, food, utilities, and cable - and we know we're the right choice for academic support, graduating on time, and a strong GPA. We're all about better grades, convenience, security, delicious meals, savings, and friends for a lifetime. Thanks for choosing KU Student Housing - we're saving a place for you next year.
Take a look at your Student Housing options at KU:
We’re pleased to announce a new, online sign-up process for returning residents beginning in the spring semester. Watch this space for instructions on how to return to on-campus housing next year!
Students are eligible for financial aid administered by the Office of Student Financial Aid and the Office of Admissions and Scholarships. In collaboration with these two offices, additional scholarships –restricted to Student Housing residents– are available. Scholarships for KU Student Housing Residents
Current Stouffer Place residents may request to move within the complex by submitting an Internal Transfer Request. Internal transfers are only offered February - April and September - November. Offers are prioritized based on date of request. Two-bedroom walk-through apartments may be offered, on a limited basis, to couples without children. Families with children will have priority for these apartments.
Whether you're craving pizza, Mexican, comfort food, or a fresh salad, our residential dining centers are right where you live. For more information on menus, dining hours, special events, or how to choose the best KU Cuisine plan, visit www.kudining.com.
Our weather in Kansas often changes in just a few minutes - so there isn't a set date for our yearly changeover from heating to cooling (and back). It typically takes about 48 hours to complete a seasonal changeover and decisions are based on long-range forecasts - so if high temperatures will be below 55 degrees for at least three days, our heating systems are activated. Cooling systems are activated when average high temperatures are forecast higher than 75 degrees.
Autumn and spring are difficult seasons to predict, especially if a warming trend is forecast following a cold snap. We appreciate your patience for the few weeks each year when we're "in-between" seasons. If you have questions or a problem with your heating or cooling unit, please complete a Maintenance Request or let the front desk or maintenance staff know right away.
