Since becoming a part of KU I have been amazed at the caliber of professionals I interact with daily. My role has allowed me to supervise and mentor amazing professional and graduate-level staff as they make their journey into our profession. My professional development is also supported by KU: attending ACUHO-I Conference Services Conference, NASPA-IV West, and the New Professionals Institute.

I loved the KU campus as a student and enjoy working here even more. There is such a rich diversity in people, places, events, and activities to experience. I also stay involved in the field through my work on the ACPA Commission for Housing and Residential Life and through committee work within UMR-ACUHO. I have appreciated the department's support to join professional organizations and attend regional and national conferences.

KU's Higher Education program has engaging teachers, meaningful coursework and every opportunity to be a success. The Higher Education Student Association, in coordination with the higher education faculty, implements a variety of activities to foster social, educational, and professional development.
