Hello from Kansas!  My name is Jayme Uden, and I currently serve as an Assistant Director for Residence Life.  I actually received my undergraduate degree from KU a while back and I'm excited to be back in Jayhawk country after spending some time at Iowa State University and Kansas State University.  There is no place like the University of Kansas when it comes to spirit, passion, and community.  I loved the campus as a student and enjoy working here even more.  There is such a rich diversity in people, places, events, and activities to experience on campus and in the Lawrence community.   I also appreciate being so close to the greater Kansas City metropolitan area with its restaurants, museums, shopping, and international airport.  We hope you take the time to learn more about KU and the Department of Student Housing.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello from beautiful KU! My name is Natalie Timson, and I currently serve as an Assistant Director for Residence Life. This is my third year at the University of Kansas, having served as a complex director for the first two. I have worked previously at the University of Tulsa and Colorado State University. Since becoming a part of the KU family I have been amazed at the caliber of Student Success professionals I interact with on a day-to-day basis. Being a part of the KU community, participating in the Rock Chalk Chant at sporting events, walking through the beautiful, hilly campus, and taking advantage of the many professional development opportunities are just a few of my favorite things about KU. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!

Greetings from Lawrence! I'm Phillip Schaefer and I currently work as the Assistant Complex Director for McCollum Residence Hall at the University of Kansas. I graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Political Science and wanted to continue my education at a well respected school with an inviting community. KU has given me that opportunity, but has also challenged me to develop personally and professionally. Our professors are engaging and energetic about the coursework, creating a fun academic environment. The city of Lawrence is amazing. Coming from a large west-coast city, I knew Lawrence would offer a different atmosphere, but I was shocked to find how welcoming the whole community is. I truly feel KU was the right choice for me! If you have any questions about the opportunities here at the University of Kansas I would love to answer them, so feel free to shoot me an email.
